Course Description
The purpose of this is to offer an opportunity for Chinese language teachers to enhance their Chinese teaching skills in Modern Standard Chinese (Mandarin).
Emphasis will placed on standard pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar; teaching methods; national and international standards; classroom activities and assessments, information how to obtain Maine teacher certificate & other basic skills

Master national and international standards/curriculum for Chinese language Education
How to introduce Chinese culture through the target language teaching.
classroom activities: students have fun learning the language
Basic teaching technology: computer, Smart Board, software and others

Small Group sessions will be at Husson College.
CEUs & Certificate
University of Maine or Husson College will issue 5 CEUs and the Bangor Chinese School will issue a certificate to students who
successfully complete the course.
