1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
(1:00-1:30 registration, 1:30-2:30 campus tour/performance practice, 2:30-3:30 performance, 3:30-4:30 dinner)

At Campus Center, Husson University



Admission: Free for students from Bangor Chinese School, Husson University's Chinese program,
local high schools' Chinese program, and Chinese students from local high schools.
For other guests, the admission fees are $15 per adult and $10 per child under 10. All the money goes to Bangor Chinese School's scholarship fund.
Spaces are limited. First come first serve.
Prior registration with your school required. Each school please prepare at least 5 minutes performances

Enjoy Chinese holiday food, experience the Chinese culture, and enjoy Chinese New Year shopping

Performances include Guzheng, Erhu, Taiqi, acrobats, singing, dance, Gongfu, Chinese calligraphy, painting, firecrackers, and lion/dragon dance

A $100 gift certificate awards a school with best performance and many door prizes for individuals

Part II: Chinese New Year Parade


Tuesday, February 12, 2013

At 4:00 p. m.



The parade will be led by former Mayor and Director of International Business Division of CLCCM, Gerry Palmer. The parade will start at the Chinese Language and Cultural Center at 53 Cumberland Street, proceed up Center Street to South Park Street and then circle the West side of Broadway Park and end at Chopsticks Restaurant on Center Street for hot tea and refreshments. Christine Chou, the owner of Chopsticks Restaurant has been selected as grand marshal.
